Minimum wage jobs are a very effective way to drope the unemployment rate. Teenagers and Yound Adults fall into this category, both trying to make money to invest in their future.
In February the unemployment rate had dropped to 8.9%. It was the first time since April of 2009 that it dropped below 9%, and 1 percentage point below 9.8% since November 2010. This seems to be a good sign that the Nation is beginning a recovery from the deep recession. It also seems that the Obama adiminstrations stimulus package has finally began the largest increase in jobs since June of 2010. The stimulus package has helped businesses recover and grow, which is a factor for the drop in unemployment. Hopefully, this will help continue the Nations economic growth and stability.
Minimum wage jobs are awesome and effective because young adults and even adults who have lost their job can apply and still have some sort of income better than none.
