Economic instability leads to social as well as economic problems. Politicians suffer from the consequences of economic instability. When times are hard, voters are dissatisfied, and incumbents are often thrown out of office. If too much economic instability exists, voters are often willing to vote for radical change. Yes there is voter dissatisfaction. People are dissatisfied with the unemployment rates, tax rates, and cost of government funded programs.
