Let's try something new this month. Your assignment is to respond to at least two (2) of your classmates posts. In your response I would like you to agree or disagree with their comments and give reasons that are backed up by something other than your opinion. Many of you are new to Econ this semester so return to the Gov blog and comment on those posts...especially the ones about the President's speech. He addressed many of the sujects you will be looking at in Economics.
I really liked obamas speech. In my opinion it sounded genuine and I think he stood by his statements and opinions very well during his speech.
ReplyDeleteI think Rosie and Christina's comments were accurate interpretations and analyses of the President's speech during the State of the Union Address. It is clear that to remain a technological driving force in the modern realm of technology, America needs a strong base of educated people who will have the knowledge and abilities to pave the way for new technological expansion and advancement. These new advancements will help to develop new jobs, which will help America in the short term to recover from the economic recession and in the long term to remain economically strong and competitive in the future technology industry.

ReplyDeleteI very much agree with Christina’s statement about lowering the price of college tuition instead of raising it, that way more people would have better career options. I think we as a country could be far better productive if we went with that strategy.
